Time for seven questions again!
My favorite Link-Up, with {GentriLee}
I look so happy because I didn't know he was making this face. Classy. |
1. Are you a thrift shopper?
Yes, for certain items. I just read an article a few weeks ago about the Duggars (ya know, the nineteen kids and counting family??) and apparently they were totally out of debt before they even had a TV show, and have never required government assistance. The article had a list of ways the Duggars were able to stay financially stable/independent, and the biggest one was to never buy anything new - from clothes to cars. Sign me up!!
2. You just had a very bad dream, what do you do?
Well, if my fiance is around, I make him snuggle with me til the bad thoughts go away. Or else I turn on the TV and watch something funny, until I can fall back asleep.
3. What is your favorite flavor of Ice Cream?
Snickers. Is that a flavor? Well, whatever, the snickers ice cream bars are my absolute favorite. For the moment at least.
4. What do you do with your money? (spend it, save it, invest it, bury it, etc)
Spend. Since I'm getting married (in less than a year!) I've been working really hard to cut back my spending and focus more on trying to save, but missing work last week kind of killed any tiny bit of savings I had. Boo.
5. What was the last quote or statement you heard that really hit you?
6. What do you do when you're driving alone? (ex: dance, sing, listen to talk radio, etc)
Sing along loudly with the radio and interpretive dance...though I also do that with my fiance in the car LOL
7. Did you watch the premier of Bachelorette? If so, who was your favorite bachelor?
I have never watched an episode of the Bachelor OR the Bachelorette. "Reality" television just isn't my cup of tea.

I love your answer to the thrifty shopper. To keep myself from buying things, I tell myself "I want kids more than {insert item}" because we need to get rid of at least a car loan before we start thinking kids. It helps! :)
also-I love the JFK quote! He's a pretty cool man.
Such good advice about being a thrifty shopper!
That's a brilliant JFK quote - love it!
I hear you on The Bachelor, too. Reality TV isn't really real, really.
